This week, some experts concluded that it might not be safe to sing in groups for a very long time. So today, we pray for the singers — those who sing for fun and those who sing for a living; those who sing softly and those who belt loudly; those who think they can’t sing and those who think they can; those who teach song and those who learn it; those for whom music is essential to faith and those who aren’t quite sure about God at all. It’s been a hard week. How can we keep from singing?
