Update: Keynoting the Massanetta Middle School Conference

Back in the fall, a friend of mine from Elon sent me an email asking if I was familiar with Massanetta. When we were in college, we both knew each other was Presbyterian, but neither of us regularly worshipped at a PCUSA church and we spent a lot more time with our shared interest in service learning. But since this is a very small world, when Chelsey popped back up in my inbox asking if I’d consider keynoting a middle school conference, I just had to say yes.

I’m thrilled and honored (and just a little bit intimidated) to be returning to the Massanetta Middle School conference this summer as the June keynoter – a good number of years after I was last at the conference as a middler myself. As the keynoter, I’ll prepare two worship services and four keynote presentations (along with an awesome team of 11 high school students I just can’t wait to meet) to share with a few hundred middle schoolers.

You can learn more about the conference theme and the other adults on the June leadership team here.
